Lêthêl-lîyê Bî (/ji/ /ˈlɪjɘ/ [even; flat] [furniture; wardrobe]) is a subtropical Town located in the Rehîêro Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Lêthêl-lîyê Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Lêthêl-lîyê Bî was founded by Mlè Garèlèdo, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Lêthêl-lîyê Bî receives an average of 236 cm/y (92 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî was founded durring the late 15th century in fall of the year 1395, by Mlè Garèlèdo. The establishment of Lêthêl-lîyê Bî was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Lêthêl-lîyê Bî's construction back out of the project. Mlè Garèlèdo pushed on reguardles, and Lêthêl-lîyê Bî was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lêthêl-lîyê Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî is buildings are located arround a single premissive cobblestone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Lêthêl-lîyê Bî's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Lêthêl-lîyê Bî's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Lêthêl-lîyê Bî gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable.

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Lêthêl-lîyê Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

The Bonewrought Willow near Lêthêl-lîyê Bî are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Lêthêl-lîyê Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves destroying a prepared ritual vessel to channel Abjuration energies of tier 1 via oratory performances.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century a local hero by the name of spared the town from the rampage of a legendary monster. The recitation of the hero's story remains a popular tavern and fair tale.
